Tiles that are “Cast in Questech®” can be used in many of the same places that you would use ceramic tile, including wet areas. There are exceptions, so please refer to the limitations section below.

All of our premium metal tiles have a protective coating that prevents scratching and oxidation. As a result, all tiles that are “Cast in Questech®” can be used in wet areas. The floor tiles have an additional layer of protection that is designed to withstand the rigors of floor traffic. These floor-coated tiles are rated for residential and light commercial applications.

In summary, DO use the WALL tile for:
Backsplashes
Shower and Tub Enclosures
Wall Accents
Chair Rails
Counter Edges
Mirror Frames
Cove Bases
Crown Moldings
Fireplace Surrounds
And anywhere else you would use ceramic wall tile (see limitations below).

In summary, DO use Questech® FLOOR tile for:
Kitchen Floors
Bathroom Floors
Shower Pans
Floor Dots
Entryways
Wall Applications (see above)
And anywhere else you would use ceramic wall & floor tile (see limitations below).

Limitations:
1. The tiles are not suitable for countertop or exterior installations.
2. Wall tiles should not be used on the floor.
3. Do not use in swimming pools or hot tubs because pool chemicals may harm the protective coating.
